Overview

Built in Korea by Daewoo, the Aveo is basic transportation, and its attractive pricing includes lots of standard features. Build quality is pretty good, but performance is not on a par with the subcompact leaders. It offers a smooth ride, but its acceleration is underwhelming. It’s devoid of any hint of excitement but is competent, roomy by subcompact standards, and well equipped. The Aveo is offered as a sedan, but the hatchback version is more versatile.
